しばらく前に Cisco UCS Director 6.5 がリリースされました。 Add a Second Virtual Disk to the Cisco UCS Director VM に記載がありますが、6.0 から 6.5 へアップグレードする場合は予め、仮想マシンに 2 つめのディスクを追加しておく必要があります。 尚、アップグレード手順は過去、Cisco UCS Director にパッチを適用するという記事に記載してあります。
2 つ目のディスクが無い状態でアップグレードすると？
2 つ目のディスクが無い状態でアップグレードすると、アップグレードの途中で以下のエラーになり、アップグレードに失敗します。

Upgrading from 6.0.1.2 to cucsd_patch_6_5_0_0_65835 requires a secondary disk of size 100 GB for migrating the database.
Perform the following operations from the Hypervisor Manager (vCenter or SCVMM).
1. Power off the VM.
2. Add a second disk of size 100 GB to the standalone node/VM.
3. Power on the VM.
4. Apply Patch from shelladmin menu.
****************************************************************************************************************************仮想マシンに 2 つ目のディスクを追加する
以下のように、UCS-D の仮想マシンへ 2 つ目のディスクを追加します。 Database Disk Requirements によると、追加するディスクは以下の条件を満たしている必要があるそうです。
- ディスクサイズが 100GB 以上あること
- 高いパフォーマンスを持つデータストアであること
- ディスク種別が SCSI (SAS) であること
- ディスクフォーマットが Thick Provisioned (Lazy Zeroed) であること
これで 6.0 から 6.5 へアップグレード出来るはずです。
