CML 2.6 リリース

CML 2.6 がリリースされました。 変更点は Summary of Changes に記載されていますが、UI Changes に下記と記載されている通り、ワークベンチの見た目が大幅に変更されました。

CML 2.6 introduces a completely re-designed Workbench UI to provide more streamlined and unified experience when working with a lab. A new onboarding tour makes all the changes easier to understand for both existing and new users. The tour is displayed to each user who has not seen it yet.

尚、Maintenance Mode に記載されていますがこのバージョンから「メンテナンスモード」という概念が導入されたようです。

CML 2.6 introduces the ability to put the CML instance into the maintenance mode. This effectively allows CML administrators to prevent all non-administrator logins and changes on the maintained CML instance. In addition, admission state mechanics have been added to control individual compute hosts' lifecycle, e.g., the REGISTERED state is used to keep a host disconnected during maintenance.

その為、以前のバージョンから今回の 2.6 へバージョンアップすると自動的にメンテナンスモードへ変更されます。 これを解除するには TOOLS → System Administration から下記の二箇所を変更します。

  • SYSTEM MAINTENANCE から Enable maintenance mode を無効にする
  • COMPUTE HOSTS からバージョンアップしたホストを READY へ変更する
